My Sister's Keeper by Jodi Picoult

This is a great page turner. It tells the story of a remarkable girl Anna who was conceived by her parents to act as a donor to assist her older sister Kate in her fight against leukaemia. Now 13 and after countless surgeries and transfusions Anna hires a lawyer to sue her parents for the rights to her own body. Thought provoking funny and sad. Sure to generate a lot of interest at the next meeting of the group.
